Checking In...

Lots to report, but not a lot of time.

Some have asked where I have been, so I thought I would check in real quick. My father passed away, and I've been with my family. He was very special and taught me a lot about life. More importantly, his passing taught me to enjoy what you have while you have it.

Go hug your loved ones.

So sorry to hear about your father. Glad that you had a good relationship with him and that he taught you so many things...just the way it should be with a dad!

Deb, been thinking about you and praying for you and your family. I'm a friend of Nickie's and read your blog - love it! It rights itself when you've got kids, that's for sure! You are a strong person and a great mother - keep it up. Hang in there - time will help heal, and we'll keep the prayers coming.

Deb...My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I've heard you talk so much about your family on the radio and know you are very close. Stay strong Deb. Your Mom will need you now more than ever. My Mom really had a hard time adjusting to life after my father passed away. Its been 15 years and she still has a hard time daily. God Speed!

Deb - I have missed you in the AM on my way to work. I am sorry to hear of your loss. Know that your Dad is very well loved and cared for where he is. My 4 year old daughter had this to say at the loss of a loved one "they are so lucky, they get to see Jesus!" Children sometimes can say surprising hear twarming things. God Bless your family!
