He Has a Point

Bike helmets.

Remember the days when we didn't used to wear one?

I'm constantly reminding my kids to put one on, yet I know I survived without them. They always come up with some excuse, then moan and groan about losing the helmet battle.

Yesterday was no different.

3-year-old Hayden started out of the garage without it, so I reminded him. At least his excuse was original...

But, Mommmmmmmmmm, it will MESS UP MY HAIR!"

(Clever, but it still didn't work.)

There's SO much we used to do that we think is insane now.

When I was.... maybe 6 or so... we had one of those giant cars... Me and my two older sisters would be crammed into the back seat. Well on long trips we'd stretch out in the back. My oldest sister got the seat, the middle one slept on the floor (over the hump!) and I climbed in the back window.

Good lord.
