Oh boy!

Nicole Kidman.

She says she cried when she first saw her baby during an ultrasound. Kidman claims, "I didn't think I'd get to experience that in my lifetime." She and Keith Urban will welcome their first child together sometime in the next few weeks.

That reminded me of my own ultrasound years ago.

It was our second child, and I had told Greg I didn't want to know the gender. So, we asked the doctor to please not reveal whether we would be having a boy or a girl.

Wasted words.

Within the first ten seconds of seeing our baby on the monitor, Greg yells..."I KNOW WHAT IT IS!"

Thanks, honey, now I do, too. So much for the element of surprise.
